APTA was pleased to provide a submission for this inquiry. The report has now been released, and is available at this link.
As the peak body for joint councils of teaching associations, many of our members directly engage with the civics and citizenship learning area in the Humanities and Social Sciences. As such, our submission includes a strong focus on HASS. However, APTA also acknowledges the place of civics and citizenship as a capability that crosses all learning areas, and thus is of importance to all of our members.
