After another very productive year in advocating for teaching associations and the centring of the teacher voice in decision making, APTA is preparing for our next AGM to establish the board for 2026 to continue our fantastic work.
Our president, Karen Yager will start on the second year of her three-year term, and our vice president, Cheryl Brennan will similarly continue. We will be looking for nominations for secretary and treasurer – any individual who is connected to a State or Territory joint council has the opportunity to join in, as the board has the power to co-opt additional members. If you are keen, please speak to your joint council.
Our AGM will be on Saturday 15 November at 2pm AEDT. Each of our members will be represented by the board director.
