Second submission: Inquiry into Education in Remote and Complex Environments

Earlier this year, APTA prepared a submission to the Inquiry into Education in Remote & Complex Environments, considering the role that professional teaching associations can play in supporting our colleagues who work in isolated locations or in complex settings.

The committee responsible for this inquiry re-opened submissions to consider how the impacts of COVID-19 and the widespread shift to online and mix-mode teaching  could contribute to discussions on remote and complex education.

APTA hosted an online forum of teachers and members of professional associations to discuss the positive and negative impacts of COVID-19 on pedagogical practice and for the work of our associations.
