The links between the values education elements as expressed in current state and territory curricula have been established.

In Western Australia, Ms Kerry Boyd of the Curriculum Council has prepared a document entitled "WA-Curriculum-Council-Values" in which the values embedded in the West Australian Curriculum Framework have been linked to the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools.

- In Victoria the Council of Professional Teacher Associations of Victoria (CPTAV) have developed a Tabled Comparison of: Values For Australian Schooling Framework and Victorian Curriculum Initiatives: Blueprint Strategy 1-Student Learning; Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS); Principles of Learning and Teaching (POLT)
- In New South Wales, the PTCNSW have developed linkages between the national and state curricula. (Curriculum Values Mapping K-6, Curriculum Values Mapping 7-10)
- In the Northern Territory, the NTJCPTA have developed linkages between the national and state curricula.
- In Tasmania, the NEAT have sourced a comprehensive document demonstrating linkages between the national and state curricula.
